The V-max is an effective pushing and braking aid enabling the chair user to be more active and increase the radius of mobility.

The pushing and braking aid makes it easier for the carer to drive on slopes ,difficult terrain, ramps and tracks. The wheelchair is driven directly at the back wheels. The advantage of this technique is the permanent and very efficient transmission of power.

The battery pack allows for a range of 15km depending on the weight of the person as well as the terrains surface

It is mounted at the rear of the chair still allowing leg for the carer to control the direction of the chair. It weighs 8.5kgs and the battery pack 9kg. V-maxs ergonomically designed formed grips are particularly user friendly have a built in fail safe device stopping the chair if the carer feels it is running away from them.

The V-max is easily removed if you want to store it. The Chunc can be used in either mode, manual or power assisted without having to remove the V-max.
