Ian Park

Ian began his career in mobility as a Rehabilitation Engineer, gaining valuable insight into the clinical work of OT’s and PT’s. He has worked extensively as an Area Mobility Consultant, and brings both practical experience and clinical understanding to his role at Chunc. Ian offers a collaborative, knowledgeable approach that puts clients at ease.

Kris Barker

Kris brings over a decade of experience from his work as an Occupational Therapy Assistant within the NHS, including specialist wheelchair services. His hands on clinical knowledge and understanding of postural needs make him a valuable and empathetic partner in client assessments and equipment provision.

Luke Thomas
Seating Specialist
Midlands & South Wales
Luke brings over 15 years of experience leading outdoor education centres, with a strong focus on making activities accessible for young people with additional needs. With personal, lived experience supporting a young person with complex needs and wheelchair use, he offers a deeply empathetic and practical approach to seating. Alongside this, he has two years experience in emergency pre-hospital care, supporting NHS services with patient transfers and high-dependency care, bringing valuable clinical knowledge of mobility, anatomy, and physiology to the role.

Meet The Admin Team
Amy Atkins
Amy is often one of the first voices you’ll hear when contacting Chunc. As part of our admin team, she plays a key role in supporting families and helping ensure every enquiry is handled with care and efficiency.
Amy studied Education at the University of Gloucestershire, where her dissertation focused on children with disabilities in mainstream education — a subject that continues to shape her passion for inclusive support and mobility solutions. She is bilingual in English and French, bringing an added layer of communication ability to her role.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys hiking and travelling, often spending her weekends outdoors.
Amy values knowing she plays a small part in helping to improve children’s mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.

Heidi Davies
Heidi brings a varied background and a personal understanding of the challenges that wheelchair users can face. Before joining Chunc, Heidi worked as an HGV driver, developing a strong practical and people focused approach that she now brings to her role.
Her decision to join Chunc was influenced by a close friend who became paralysed overnight as a result of Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). Seeing first hand how difficult it could be for her friend to get around in a wheelchair gave Heidi a real appreciation of the difference the right mobility equipment can make.
Outside of work, Heidi enjoys swimming and spending time with her two cats.
For Heidi, being part of Chunc means contributing to a team that helps make everyday mobility easier and more accessible for children, young people and their families.
