For over 20 years, we’ve been designing and hand assembling specialist wheelchairs and mobility bases that support children and adults with moderate to complex postural needs.

We work closely with healthcare professionals, families, and carers to ensure our designs make a genuine difference, from schools and classrooms and family homes, to hospitals, residential care, and community settings.
Born from real experience
Chunc began with Sophie, diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, whose early wheelchairs simply didn’t meet her postural and functional needs.
With a background in aerospace engineering, her family set out to rethink children’s wheelchairs – focusing on precision, usability, and dignity. The result was a completely new approach to specialist seating.
Today, decades later, Sophie still sits comfortably in a Chunc wheelchair – a lasting testament to thoughtful design built around real lives.
