A Chunc test drive gives you the opportunity to see how our wheelchairs feel in real life. It’s your chance to explore the features, ask questions, and make sure the chair works for your child, your family, and your daily routine.
How does a free test drive work?
We understand that choosing the right seating and mobility system is a big decision. Our free test drive experience* lets you try it where it matters most – at home, school, or out and about.
At the end of the trial, we will collect the chair without any pressure or obligation. Confident in your choice, we’ll support you through every step – placing an order and/or exploring funding options.
*Standard chair build. Excludes Spica, Adapt, and any bespoke modifications.
Every test drive is supported by a free assessment, so you can feel confident that what you’re trying is appropriate, considered and tailored.
Clinical Assessment
A seating specialist completes a full assessment and recommends a Chunc chair best suited to the user’s needs.
This ensures the chair is:
– Appropriate for posture and positioning
– Right for every day family life
Trial Quote and Agreement
We will send a trial quote and a Free on Loan agreement for you to review, sign, and return. The price shown on the order reflects the value of the chair – there is nothing to pay at this stage.
Delivery & Setup
Once the paperwork is complete, your chair is delivered within two weeks (10 working days). A seating specialist will arrange a convenient time to:
– Deliver the chair
– Set it up correctly
– Ensure it is adjusted appropriately
– Answer any questions
Two Week Home Trial
You use the chair for two weeks from the setup date. This allows you to see how it works:
– At home
– At school
– Outdoors and in the community
– In everyday routines
Feedback & Adjustments
Feedback from the trial helps confirm:
– What works well
– Whether any adjustments are needed
– If refinements would improve comfort or function
Moving Forward
If you’d like to proceed with Chunc, we will provide a final quote reflecting any agreed adjustments. Once payment or a PO is received, we confirm the order for your permanent chair and advise you of the estimated dispatch date.
